This interactive allows visitors to see the pages of the manuscript in the original book context, and then animated in 3D, cut into sections and arranged into the reading order devised by Paris.

Mouse Brain

This exhibit showed how mouse brains develop over time, featuring cross-sections from MRI scans at intervals throughout a mouse's life.

The exhibit used an animation of a silhouette mouse running in an actual physical spinning wheel, projected onto a glass surface to progress through the story.

Two animated films were created to explain some of the recent advances in medical technology.

Sited within the graphic the walls of the exhibition, these animations take the visitor on a journey through the technologies using graphic character animation and subtle 3D techniques.

The Wall

Working to an ambitious and demanding brief, Clay designed and developed a 31 square-meter interactive wall of thousands of images, videos and detailed case study material that explores the nature and impact of global warming. This mosaic of imagery is arranged by topic and hue, and is then animated by the constant activity of visitors.

Portraits

A series of seven animated films were produced showing the portraits of all 241 awardees. Displayed on consecutive screens across the space, the animations gently zoom and crossfade the portraits, creating a sombre march of heroes through the gallery.

Large-scale animations were projected into two of the spaces. One highlighting the depictions and importance of Gods found in one long papyrus ‘The Hunefer’, and another wall painting that came to life to tell the story of the moment of judgment of the newly deceased.

Augmented Text Panels

Clay used projection on top of graphic panels synchronised with papyrus detail animations to delicately animate and enhance the traditional concept of a graphic panel.

Content was structured and written in a way that encouraged the viewer to engage with the imagery and text on their own terms.
