Fantasy: Realms of Imagination

This enchanting exhibition at the British Library explores the beautiful, uncanny, and sometimes monstrous makings of fantasy.

Designed by Drinkall Dean, the exhibition takes visitors on a dramatic journey through the realms of imagination.

In collaboration with the British Library, we were tasked with creating AV and interactive elements to compliment the narrative of this magical exhibition, enhancing engagement and the overall visitor experience.

Animations and Interactions
Clay designed and produced large-scale scenic animations that are integrated within the physical design as well as an interactive room and ambient soundtracks.

Midway through their journey, visitors are invited to step into the interactive room, where their reflections distort in time, creating surprising and surreal moments that invite playfulness and provide perfect moments for sharing on social media. This whimsical interactive experience adds a layer of intrigue and encourages visitors to explore the fantastical in a unique and personal way.

Musical Composition
All the works are accompanied by original musical compositions that endlessly loop and blend to create an ever-changing composition across the whole exhibition. The soundscapes help transport the visitor and lift them out of the every-day as they explore this immersive exhibition.
